Pakistan Fashion week was a three days long event which lasted all day long. The event was organized by Pakistan Fashion Design Council in collaboration with L’Oreal Paris, the world’s leading beauty brand.
After the first day being a super hit, the second-day show started earlier in the evening. The day had a list of wonderful designers showcasing with their amazing bridal collections. Lajwanti, Ahmed Bilal, Rici Melion and FAS walked the ramp with their grouped showcases. The day included a solo show by Nida Azwer which was followed by another grouped bridal showcase featuring Misha Lakhani, Zainab Salman, and Jeem by Hamza Bokhari. The day 2 ended with a final grouped bridal showcase compromising Farah and Fatima and ‘The House of Kamiar Rokni’
‘A Tale of Spain’
The Day-2 grouped Bridal Show was opened by Lajwanti with their bridal collection ‘A Tale of Spain’. The name itself carries the historical values. The motif work and details are also inspired by the rich and vibrant historic architect and culture of Spain. The color theme was red, green and gold.
Bilal Ahmed’s collection Noor-e-Nazar was showcased at PFDC Bridal Weel. The collection was a perfect combination of fabrics such as jamawar, chiffon, organza, tissue and silk with a fusion of resham work, tilla embedded with pearls and stones.
The beautiful Resham Jii set the ramp on fire as she walked in as the designer’s show stopper.
FAS showcased the bridal collection ‘Sur Taal’ at the Day-2 of PFDC Loreal Paris Bridal Week. The collection had a touch of modern and traditional bridal work. The bridal wears had 3D work with a combination of luxe fabrics.
The studding Kubra Khan walked the ramp as the showstopper for the designer.
The house of Kamiar Rokhni introduced his collection with the name of Moonrise at PFDC Fashion Week. The ‘Moon’ was used as a symbol to present female figures and their elegance!
The collection was made up of traditional work that is modernized for brides today.
Farah and Fatima’s collection ‘Dastaan’ was the glam of the ramp at PFDC Fashion Week 2018!
Mizaaj was showcased by Jeem at PFDC Bridal week. Hamza Bukhari the owner of Jeem inspired his collection through crafts of South Pakistan. Floral motifs and animal patterns were a major part of the collection too!!
The PFDC has always been a great platform for the designers to exhibit their exemplary work under one roof
