This year Coke studio season did not go well. The fans were highly disappointed by the songs. The last episode was like putting a cherry on the top of the cake. In this episode, the classic hit song Ko Ko Korina sung by pop-singer Ahmed Rushdi was remade.

The rendition of this classic hit by Ahad Raza Mir and Momina Mustehsan started a campaign of criticism against the coke studio. The song was originally for the movie Armaan of Waheed Murad and its tune is popular among the Pakistanis. This is the reason could not tolerate the justice coke studio did to this song.

Although coke studio saved this song for the last episode as they were confident this song will make to the top charts of Pakistani songs of 2018. But their expectations did not turn into reality and the song was referred to as a failure.

Coke studio is famous for doing justice with the classics while making their remakes like Atif Aslam tajdar e haram did justice. Which was one of the most popular hits of Pakistan with the most views on youtube. Ko Ko Korina did not turn well and even celebrities were not happy with the song.The minister of human rights Shireen Mazari also criticized the remake.

Apart from this Ahad Raza Mir made his singing debut in his song. The fans were waiting for his debut. The Yakeen ka Safar actor dint received good feedback from his fans on the song. The people are questioning Ahad Raza Mir decision of entering in singing. On the other hand, some fans supported his singing and his co-actress Sajal Ali also loved the song. This tells that his singing received a mixed reaction.

The coke studio season ended with this song fans are hoping for better songs next season.
